Just got a price for a new BX1500-54 with GCK60-15BX grass catcher and rear mount snow blower for 10940. Dealer wants 8600.00 for the tractor with 54" MMM only.
Seem reasonable? I'm in the Buffalo NY area but would be willing to travel a distance and pick up myself.
Anyone have any positive or negative personal experiences with the BX1500? I only have 1.1 acre, I will do some landscaping but will use mainly for cutting grass, picking up tonnes of leaves in Autumn and clearing a 100 ft. L shaped brick driveway.

Looking forward to your advice!

The BX1500 with 54" MMM is perfect for your application. You'll love it! I have one for about 2-1/2 acres and it reduced my mowing time by 1/2 over my old Wheel Horse. $8600 is a great price. I paid $9K for mine with a 54" mower. ....

Well I finally took the plunge over the holidays. I went and picked up my new BX1500-54 and it's gorgeous! Had a last minute look at the 1830 and 2230 but felt these were overkill for my needs. Still shopping around for a Rear PTO snowblower (the PUMA looks the part) so haven't put any real time behind the wheel yet. Got a GREAT deal from a dealer in WNY who really wanted to sell since his big movers are the BX2230's. Paid $8000! Very Happy!! ....

I liked the front blower over the rear. So much more user friendly. I know it is alot more expensive, but neck pain isn't cheap either! I have new pics of it (snowblower) up now. Had a 9" snow earlier in the winter, and it worked great!! Rain and warm weather, followed by fridgid cold reduced our snow cover to less than an inch now, but...

My neighbors thank me: New Blower = No Snow ....
